Exciting KS1 Teaching Opportunity in Stroud

Class People are working with a welcoming primary school in Stroud seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from January until the end of the academic year.

This is a full-time teaching position in a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

The school has a strong community ethos and values creativity, collaboration, and a nurturing approach to education. They are open to applications from both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum

• Assess and track pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes

• Foster a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

• Uphold the school’s safeguarding, behaviour, and curriculum policies

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
