Maths Cover Supervisor – Westbury (Full-Time, Jan–Easter)

Start Date: 05/01/2026
Contract: Full-time, fixed term until Easter (possibility to extend to July)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (M1–M6 equivalent)

About the Role:
A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Westbury is looking for a full-time Maths Cover Supervisor to join their team from January. You will be responsible for delivering set lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students remain engaged and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned Maths lessons to students in Years 7–11

• Keep students engaged and on task throughout the lesson

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Build positive relationships with students

• Communicate any issues or progress to the Maths department

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or delivering Maths up to GCSE level (essential)

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Previous experience working in a school or with young people

• Confident, adaptable and organised

• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
