Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term and Short-term roles
Location: Gloucestershire

At Class People, we are working with a number of supportive primary and secondary schools across Gloucestershire who are looking for caring, motivated Learning Partners to join their teams.

This role is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to young people who need extra support—whether academically, socially, or emotionally. As a Learning Partner, you’ll work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help pupils access learning in a way that feels safe, structured, and positive for them.

You don’t need years of experience to succeed in this role. What matters most is patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping children grow in confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, helping them stay engaged and motivated.

  • Assisting with learning activities, adapted tasks, and individual support plans.

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have additional needs.

  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to maintain a calm and inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, resilient approach and a genuine interest in supporting young people.

  • Experience in education, care, SEN, youth work or similar (beneficial but not essential).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one with our guidance.
