Salary: £99.43 – £109.06 per day
Contract Type: Long-Term or Day-to-Day Supply

About the Role:

Are you a compassionate, patient, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact?

Class People are working with schools across North Somerset, including Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon, who are seeking reliable and dedicated SEN TAs to support children with additional needs such as autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language delays, and other learning barriers.

Whether you’re already working in SEN or looking to transition into this rewarding field, we offer tailored placements to suit your skills and preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist the class teacher with personalised learning plans
• Use a range of strategies to promote inclusion and engagement
• Support emotional regulation and communication needs
• Maintain a nurturing and structured learning environment

What You Need:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Relevant TA or SEN qualification (or working towards)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• A calm, caring and resilient personality
