Learning Mentor- Permanent Bristol
Class People is working in partnership with an alternative provision organisation to recruit a Learning Mentor to support children and young people with SEND.
The role involves working with small groups of learners, delivering personalised learning and targeted interventions aligned to EHCP outcomes. The Learning Mentor will also act as a key worker, providing consistent pastoral support and acting as a link between home, education settings and external agencies.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting and delivering bespoke learning and intervention programmes

Acting as key worker for an allocated group of learners

Monitoring and supporting progress against EHCP outcomes

Maintaining accurate records (ARBOR, CPOMS, assessments, reports)

Working closely with parents, SENCO/DSL and external professionals

Promoting safeguarding and learner wellbeing at all times
The role may include additional duties such as supporting learner transitions, transport, and undertaking first aid or fire marshal responsibilities.
