What the Role Really Looks Like

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be:

• Supporting pupils in lessons, either 1:1 or in small groups

• Helping children stay focused, understand learning tasks and grow in confidence

• Providing extra support to pupils with SEND or emotional needs

• Offering calm, consistent behaviour support when it’s needed most

• Working closely with teachers to keep classrooms positive, inclusive and engaging
