Location: Opportunities available in Bristol, Bath, Midsomer Norton, Frome, and surrounding areas
Salary: £130 – £261.17 per day (depending on experience and contract type)
Contract Type: Supply, Short-Term, or Long-Term (including potential maternity covers)
Start Date: September 2025 or earlier

About the Role:

Are you a nurturing and creative EYFS Teacher with a passion for supporting early development? Class People is currently working with a range of nurseries, infant schools, and primary schools across Bristol, Bath, and surrounding areas including Midsomer Norton, Frome, and Wells who are looking for Early Years Foundation Stage specialists to cover maternity leaves, provide day-to-day support, or take on long-term placements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children at the very beginning of their education journey and help lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned to the EYFS curriculum
• Foster emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Maintain strong communication with support staff, parents and SLT
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and well-being in the classroom
• Carry out observations and contribute to ongoing assessments

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS experience
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Framework
• Understanding of early phonics, child development, and safeguarding
• Patient, energetic, and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
