Experienced Teaching Assistant

Class People are working with schools across Gloucestershire to recruit Experienced Teaching Assistants who can provide confident, consistent support in the classroom.

This role is ideal for TAs who already understand school routines, can adapt quickly to different settings, and enjoy being a reliable presence for pupils and staff.

The Role

As an Experienced Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in lessons, either 1:1 or in small groups

• Assist with learning activities and classroom organisation

• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND or emotional needs

• Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

• Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain inclusive classrooms

Opportunities are available on a supply, short-term and longer-term basis.

Who We’re Looking For

This role would suit you if you:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant

• Are confident adapting to different classrooms and age groups

• Are calm, reliable and proactive

• Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
