EYFS TEACHER - GLOUCESTER FULL TIME

Class People are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gloucester who are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from the end of November.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about Early Years education and want to make a difference in children's first years at school.

You will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that nurture curiosity and build strong foundations for learning. The school has a strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and a collaborative teaching team who value creativity, enthusiasm, and child-led learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum

- Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment

- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

- Support early literacy, numeracy, and social development

- Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning, and safeguarding

Candidate Requirements

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception (placements accepted for ECTs)

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- A passion for early years learning and development

- A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
