Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children in the classroom? Class People are working closely with a number of welcoming schools across Stroud, and we’re looking for caring, motivated Learning Partners to join their teams.
My name is Samuel, and I’m the educational recruitment consultant supporting schools in the Stroud area. I work directly with SENCOs, teachers, and school leaders who are seeking positive, patient individuals to help pupils succeed both academically and emotionally. If you’re someone who brings warmth, resilience, and a genuine interest in helping young people thrive, I’d love to hear from you.
Learning Partners play a vital role in helping pupils feel confident, included, and able to engage in their learning. You don’t need years of experience—we welcome people from education, care, youth work, or anyone with the right attitude and a passion for supporting children.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, helping them stay engaged and confident.

Assisting teachers with learning activities and classroom routines.

Helping children with additional or specific learning needs access the curriculum.

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may need extra support.

Working with teachers and SEN staff to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For

A patient, caring approach and a genuine interest in supporting children.

Experience in education, care, SEN, youth work or similar is helpful, but not essential.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply with our support.
