Pay: £29,000.00-£31,200.00 per year Job Description: Location: Gloucester Hours: 40 Hours per week Salary: £29,000-31,000 Contract: Permanent Room Leader – Day Nursery We’re looking for a warm, confident and experienced Room Leader to join our nursery team and take the lead within one of our rooms. You’ll create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow and thrive — while supporting and guiding your team to deliver outstanding care. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of the room Support, mentor and motivate your team Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities Build strong relationships with children and families Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and confidentiality at all times About You Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge Confident supporting others and leading by example Positive, nurturing and child-centred Reliable, organised and a great communicator Benefits Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities
