Class People are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Yate, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for a long-term role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner — or a confident ECT with a passion for early learning — to inspire young minds and make a real impact in a nurturing, creative environment.

The Role:

• Teaching a Reception class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework

• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

• Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child thrives

• Planning, assessing, and tracking pupil progress effectively

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching in EYFS (either in training or in post)

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and a child-centred approach

• Is enthusiastic, organised, and able to build positive relationships with children and families
