TEACHING ASSISTANT

Location: Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
Salary: £85 to £100 per day depending on experience
Contract Type: Full time, Part time, Supply opportunities available

About the Role:
Class People are looking for caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across the Forest of Dean. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy working with children and want to make a real difference in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of the classroom team. You will help pupils with their learning, provide one to one and small group support, and make sure every child feels included and encouraged. We work with a wide range of schools, so you will have the chance to find a role that suits your skills and availability.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities

• Helping pupils with their learning on a one to one basis or in small groups

• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere

• Providing extra support for pupils with additional needs

• Being a reliable and friendly presence in the classroom

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting is helpful but not essential

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, caring, and positive approach

• Flexibility and willingness to get involved in different aspects of school life

• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection training can be provided
