SEN Teaching Assistant – Forest of Dean

Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? We’re looking for supportive, reliable, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across the Forest of Dean area.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who need additional support with their learning and development. You will be working in a range of settings, offering both 1:1 and small group support, depending on the needs of the pupils and the school.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

Assisting teachers with the delivery of inclusive and engaging lessons

Helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and stay on task

Promoting independence and encouraging positive social interaction
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children in an educational or care setting (essential)

A compassionate and adaptable attitude

Knowledge or experience of SEN (desirable)

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
What You’ll Receive:

Daily pay: £94.14 – £109.06 depending on experience
