SEN Teaching Assistant – Gloucestershire

Class People work closely with primary, secondary and specialist schools across Gloucestershire, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs. We’re always keen to speak with SEN TAs who bring empathy, resilience and positivity into the classroom.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils:

• On a 1:1 basis or in small groups

• With autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties or speech and language needs

• Within mainstream or specialist settings

• With emotional regulation, communication and engagement

• Across structured lessons and less formal learning time

No two days are the same, but every day matters.

• Have experience supporting children with SEN (or are keen to develop it)

• Are calm, patient and consistent

• Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

• Work well as part of a team
