At Class People, we’re proud to work with schools that put inclusion and pupil wellbeing at the heart of everything they do. We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join one of our exceptional partner schools in [location]. This is an opportunity to truly make a difference — supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve, grow, and thrive.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalised education to children with a range of additional needs — including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You’ll plan creative, differentiated lessons and work closely with a supportive team of teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to ensure every child’s unique needs are met.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
-
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom where all pupils can succeed.
-
Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals to provide holistic care.
-
Monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and adjust learning plans accordingly.
-
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to promote confidence and trust.
-
Bring energy, empathy, and creativity to every lesson.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Previous experience working with children with SEN/SEND.
-
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to teaching and behaviour management.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping every child reach their potential.
Why Work with Class People:
-
Access to exclusive SEN teaching roles across [region].
-
Personal, friendly support from your dedicated Class People consultant.
-
Flexible placements to suit your lifestyle and career goals.
-
Competitive pay, ongoing training, and development opportunities.
At Class People, we believe that great teaching transforms lives — and nowhere is that more true than in SEN education.
If you’re a dedicated SEN Teacher ready to inspire and support pupils who need it most, we’d love to hear from you.
