Looking for SEN Teaching Assistant roles in Portishead? Class People are supporting local schools who need caring and experienced Learning Support Assistants from September.

This role would suit someone with prior school experience who is passionate about working with pupils with SEN including autism, ADHD, and communication needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Assist class teachers with SEN strategies
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic progress
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in schools (essential)
• SEN knowledge or relevant qualification desirable
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willingness to apply)
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
