Looking for SEN Teaching Assistant jobs in South Gloucestershire? Class People are supporting a variety of schools across the county who need reliable and passionate Learning Support Assistants from September.
This role is ideal for anyone with prior classroom experience who wants to support pupils with additional needs such as autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language delays, or learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Provide SEN support 1:1 or in small groups
- Assist the class teacher with inclusive strategies
- Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours
- Help pupils with emotional regulation and communication
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children in an education setting (essential)
- SEN knowledge or training desirable
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)
- Patient, calm and resilient approach
