SEN Teaching Assistant
At Class People, we work closely with schools and specialist provisions across Gloucestershire to place SEN Teaching Assistants who make a genuine difference to children’s lives.
This role is about more than classroom support. It’s about patience, understanding and helping pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn in a way that works for them.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you may:

Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups

Work with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

Help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively with learning

Support the delivery of personalised learning plans and EHCP targets

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams

Create calm, structured and inclusive learning environments
Roles are available in special schools, mainstream schools with SEN provision and alternative settings.
