Year 2 Class Teacher – Stroud

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: MPS/UPS (paid to scale)

Class People are seeking a passionate and motivated Year 2 Teacher to work with one of our welcoming and well-resourced primary schools in the Stroud area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating positive learning experiences for KS1 pupils.

About the Role

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum

• Support pupils in achieving their personal and academic goals

• Use effective behaviour management and pastoral strategies

• Work collaboratively with school staff and Class People to ensure consistency and support

• Maintain high standards of planning, assessment and classroom organisation

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2

• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach

• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching

• The ability to inspire confidence and build rapport with children
