New Office, New Faces and our 20th year!
A message from our Managing Director
Naomi Howells
It has been an exciting time here at Class People as we kicked off the academic year 22/23 for employees, clients and candidates. The office is a buzz with optimism and eager anticipation for all those working within the Education Sector and here?s why;
- Over the course of the summer, Class People?s central offices moved to Swindon Village. We celebrated this move with a vision day that reflected back on 20 years of Class People and looked forward to what we will achieve by 2030. With the business?s growth strategy, Kezia Buckland and Charlie Sargent joined the team to match the business? ambition. Staying true to its origin, Charlie joins Class People from an education background where she had previously been assisting pupils as an Education Liaison Manager.
- The Class People Foundation received a new injection of funding from Class People to support local schools. Advertisement of the registered charity is now accessible in the FundEd supplement in order to reach out to more schools and offer greater support as partners in education. Meanwhile, Ampney Crucis Primary awaits the arrival of their ?reading shelter? as recipients of funding from the Class People Foundation.
- Class People continued their success of placing education professionals into long-term placements. Candidates continued to rate our onboarding process as 4.8/5, and we continue to get people out to work in just over a week from their initial enquiry on average.
?They are great staff in class people. Very easy and great communication. Brilliant agency!?
The company?s prioritisation of safeguarding and the welfare of children in education continues as we were again cited as a provider of choice by the CCS, offering Level 2 safeguarding training to all our candidates along with access to 150 other education courses. Our support of candidates is reflected by the number of referrals of friends, family and colleagues to Class People, which shows we must be doing something right! One teaching assistant took advantage of our refer-a-friend scheme for a second time this term, earning herself ?400 in total! Following this, we have launched a "Super Referral" - read more below
Thank you,
Naomi
Termly Spotlight
The results are in! Sarah S has won our termly spotlight award for her amazing work, with several nominations! One school said: "Sarah was excellent with our toddler group, it was like she had always been a part of [the nursery] and we would love to have her back again soon!"
Super Referral
In celebration of candidates making the most of our Refer a Friend scheme, we will be gifting an iPad to whoever refers the most candidates this academic year - in addition to the ?200 gift card for each referral! Get referring!
