We are currently recruiting for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to support nurseries across Gloucester.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support nursery teams in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and develop.

You will work across different nursery settings, helping with daily routines, activities, and ensuring children receive high-quality care and support.

Requirements

• Previous nursery or childcare experience within the UK (essential)
• Good understanding of working in nursery or early years settings
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting children’s development through play and learning activities
• Assisting with daily nursery routines
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment
• Building positive relationships with staff, parents, and children
• Supporting the nursery team with day-to-day activities
• Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times
