Best Company to Work For at the IRP Awards!

Class People crowned as Best Company to Work For at IRP Awards!

We're celebrating success after winning two awards at this year?s national IRP Awards.

Winning ?Best Company to Work For (up to 20 employees)? and ?Best Newcomer? for our senior recruitment consultant Ellis Thorne, we're thrilled that our hard work and successes have been recognised after a year of change.

The REC's annual Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Awards celebrate the best in talent within the industry.

The judges explained:

"A clear winner... It was evident how much they understand their market and business sector, and have built innovative solutions for their customers. The judges were impressed that they recently carried out a restructure with a positive outcome, closing four offices while maintaining a strong staff engagement score. All of this was coupled with impressive commercials around growth, and excellent flexibility offered to staff."

Winner of 'Best Newcomer', Ellis has impressively climbed his way up the Class People career ladder in just 18 months from trainee to acting Team Leader, achieving a number of successes along the way. Ellis has been a champion of Class People?s cost-saving solution for schools, particularly in the light of school funding cuts and challenges that the education sector is experiencing.

Lynis Bassett, CEO, explains:

?It has been a year of growth for Class People and we have been brave with our decisions to make change. Our recent restructure has proved successful, whilst maintaining a strong staff engagement score. Sometimes you need to be brave and take a risk, in this case, it paid off.?

We're looking forward to year ahead...
