Class People launch new Dorset and Hampshire office

Class People launch new Dorset and Hampshire office

Katie Holdsworth is our Branch Manager for Dorset & Hampshire.

Joining Class People as a consultant in January 2014 was a career-changing move for me. I quickly established long-lasting relationships with schools and teachers across Devon and within 18 months, Class People had a 20% market share in the area and I was promoted to Branch Manager. Not only did I love being part of the Class People family, teachers and schools shared our ethos and values.

Growing up in Bournemouth and moving to Devon when I was 17 years old, it was always my plan to move back but there was never a right time. A new relationship developed and I decided it was ?now or never? so I packed my bags in Exeter and returned to my Dorset roots, which meant leaving Class People.

After a short break out of the education sector, I couldn?t wait to return and the obvious choice for me was Class People, launching their Dorset & Hampshire hub. With over 4 year?s education recruitment experience, three of those working for Class People, I have a strong understanding of the sector and growing up in Bournemouth, I know the geographical area extremely well.

Set up by a primary teacher, Class People understands the challenges that the education sector face and look at offering solutions. We match teaching education professionals with opportunities in schools and other settings across the full span of the curriculum, age groups, abilities and special needs for long-term roles and day-to-day supply. With education at the heart of everything we do, it's no wonder that we have become both our schools and our teacher's best friend.

Being an independent agency, Class People do not offer a ?one size fits all? approach ? this goes for teachers, schools and employees which is why I live and breathe the brand. Offering teachers the chance to meet and socialise with other teachers and CPD opportunities are just a few of the support mechanisms Class People provide to their teachers. We proactively work with NQTs through to semi-retired teachers, some having done supply for many years and others we hold their hand as they embark on their supply journey. Whether you are a teacher new to supply or an old hand at it, Class People are there to guide and support you 24/7.

With the new office launch in Bournemouth, we are covering the Dorset & Hampshire area and I am keen to speak to anyone who may be looking for teaching work ? day to day, longer term and permanent across Early Years, Primary, Secondary & SEN.
