Going the extra mile for our schools

Class People go the extra mile

We've had a great couple of weeks visiting some of our local schools and giving back in any way we can.

Alicia and Kate helped out at Hanbury Church of England First School last week with their bake sale, as part of their fundraising efforts to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK after their teacher Mrs Kershaw was diagnosed in September.

The bake sale raised ?246.75 in one afternoon and added to the total ?1820.

On Monday, Katie (a member of our senior management team) visited Willand Primary School near Cullumpton in Devon to hand over ?100 worth of book vouchers.

The year 5 pupils wrote letters to Class People asking for help with prizes for their accelerated learning programme and we were delighted to be able to help.

We are always looking for new ways to help our schools, whether it is helping out with face painting at a summer fete or providing sports equipment or vouchers.
