Holiday Pay and Agency Worker Rights
This form must be provided to both the selected umbrella company and the Agency Worker. The assignment rate shown above is the rate payable by Class People to the umbrella company and is not the Agency Worker's gross rate of pay. The Umbrella Company will notify the Agency Worker directly about how pay, deductions and holiday pay will be calculated and paid.
Where applicable, entitlement under the Agency Workers Regulations 2010, including any enhanced holiday entitlement and working conditions, will apply in accordance with the legislation and your qualifying status.
Important Information
Please ensure that you bring the following to every assignment:
• DBS certificate (where required);
• photographic identification;
• proof of address (where required); and
• Class People identification badge.
Please take reasonable steps to research the School / Setting in advance and ensure that you allow sufficient travel time to arrive punctually.
For teaching assignments, teachers are normally expected to arrive by 8:00am unless otherwise advised.
For Early Years assignments, practitioners are normally expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the commencement of their shift unless otherwise advised.
Absence Reporting
If you are unable to attend the assignment for any reason, including illness, you must notify your consultant as soon as possible.
If you become unwell on the day of the assignment or have an urgent issue outside office hours, please contact the Class People emergency contact number immediately.
Timesheets
Your timesheet will normally be available for approval from 9:00am on the Friday of the relevant working week.
To avoid any delay to payment, please ensure that your timesheet is approved by Sunday of that week.
Confirmation of Acceptance
Please reply to the assignment email to confirm that you are willing to undertake the assignment on the details set out above. If any detail is incorrect or changes, please notify your consultant immediately.
