Class People are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a Year 3 pupil within a school setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and resilient SEND professional with extensive experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and managing challenging behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Have significant experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH needs.
• Be confident and experienced in managing challenging behaviour.
• Have the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Demonstrate patience, resilience and a calm, consistent approach.
• Be able to provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the pupil's individual needs.
• Understand the importance of routine, structure and consistency.
• Be committed to providing ongoing support throughout the placement.

The Role

You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 pupil, providing tailored learning and behavioural support to help them engage positively with their education.

Due to the individual needs of the pupil, consistency and commitment are essential. We are therefore looking for someone who can provide reliable, ongoing support and build a strong, trusting relationship.

The placement will run until 18th December.
