Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will:

• Lead and support a team of Early Years Practitioners, creating a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Oversee the daily running of your nursery room.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

• Support children's emotional, social and educational development.

• Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.

• Encourage continuous improvement and professional development within your team.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, recognised as full and relevant for EYFS staff-to-child ratios.

• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team.

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
