The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day running and overall management of the nursery.

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of early years practitioners.

• Ensure high standards of childcare, education and safeguarding.

• Create a stimulating, inclusive environment that supports children’s learning and development.

• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, staff and the wider community.

• Ensure the nursery meets EYFS requirements, safeguarding policies and Ofsted standards.

• Manage staff recruitment, training, rotas and performance.

• Monitor nursery occupancy, budgets and resources to support the effective running of the setting.

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

• Previous experience in a senior early years or nursery management role.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.

• The ability to inspire, support and develop a team.

• A genuine passion for providing outstanding care and education for young children.
