Location: Fairford and surrounding areas
Salary: £150 – £271 per day, paid to scale up to M6

Duration: Term 2, with the possibility of continuing after Christmas

Class People are currently recruiting for an experienced Music Teacher to join a secondary school in the Fairford area for a part-time teaching position starting in Term 2.

The role will involve teaching Music at KS3 on Thursdays and Fridays. This is a full teaching position with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment.

There is potential for the role to continue beyond Christmas for the right candidate.

The Role

• Teaching Music across KS3.
• Teaching on Thursdays and Fridays each week.
• Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Taking full responsibility for teaching and learning within your classes.
• Working closely with colleagues within the Music department and wider school.
• Supporting students to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in Music.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Music within a secondary school.
• Be confident teaching KS3 Music.
• Have strong classroom management skills.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently.
• Have high expectations of students and their learning.
• Be reliable, professional and committed to providing a high standard of teaching.
