They are now looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with basic tax return experience to join their close-knit team and become a valued part of the business long term.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers
Supporting with management accounts and year-end preparation
Preparing basic self-assessment tax returns
Building strong relationships with clients and supporting with queries
Working both remotely and occasionally from client premises

What We’re Looking For:

Previous bookkeeping experience (practice experience would be ideal)
Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
A solid understanding of basic UK tax and self-assessment
Someone organised, proactive and detail-focused
A warm, professional communicator who enjoys working with people
AAT qualified or qualified by experience
