Youth Worker – SEN & SEMH | Gloucestershire | £25,473–£28,058
Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives?
We are working with a values-led organisation seeking 2–3 Youth Workers to support young people aged 11–25 with a range of SEN and SEMH needs across Gloucestershire.
This is not your standard role – this is about impact, connection and real change.
The Role:
- Deliver and support open access youth clubs
- Provide 1:1 support and build meaningful relationships
- Support young people with emotional wellbeing and counselling-based approaches
- Identify and manage safeguarding risks
- Facilitate sessions in community settings and outreach locations
Locations:
Hubs in Stonehouse, Dursley and Cirencester, with outreach across:
Moreton-in-Marsh to Dursley/Stonehouse
(Flexibility on base location depending on you)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (essential)
- Understanding of SEN and/or SEMH (highly desirable)
- Relevant qualifications (ideal but not essential with strong experience)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
- Someone who can bring energy, resilience and empathy
Working Pattern:
- Monday–Friday
- Some evenings and occasional Saturdays (youth clubs/groups)

- Salary: £25,473 – £28,058 (depending on experience)
