Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for your next opportunity within a supportive school environment?

Class People are recruiting on behalf of a successful Multi Academy Trust for an experienced and proactive School Business Manager to provide interim cover from September to December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming leadership team and play a key role in the operational and strategic management of two primary schools. You'll oversee finance, HR, administration, compliance, premises and support services, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of both schools.

We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a School Business Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within education
• Strong financial management, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Knowledge of school HR processes, compliance and operational management
• Experience using school finance and management systems such as Arbor, iTrent, IMP, Planergy or similar
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational oversight
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
