Reception Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing educator with a passion for early years learning? Class People is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in South Bristol to recruit a dedicated Reception Teacher.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a Reception class within a supportive and friendly school environment. You will create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive space where children can develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning from the very start of their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to individual needs
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience or a strong interest in Early Years education
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
