I joined Class People in May 2026 as a Credit Controller, bringing with me over eight years of experience across finance and accounting. I hold a BBA specialising in Finance, am ACA part-qualified, and also hold CBA and MAAT qualifications.
My role covers a wide range of financial responsibilities, including credit control, reconciliations, cash flow management, financial reporting, payroll processing and supporting the smooth running of our wider financial operations. I really enjoy the detail and problem-solving side of finance, and I take pride in making sure everything is accurate, organised and running as it should.
I’m naturally calm, thoughtful and approachable, and I always try to bring that same steady approach to my work. Finance can often be fast-paced and deadline-driven, so I think being able to stay level-headed, communicate clearly and support the wider team is incredibly important.
I’m proud to be part of Class People and really enjoy working alongside such a friendly, supportive and professional group of people. It’s a lovely environment to be part of, and I value the strong sense of teamwork across the business.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, playing cricket and spending quality time with my wife and little boy. I love exploring new places and creating new memories together as a family. Originally from Sri Lanka, I’m incredibly proud of my roots, my culture and the warmth of the people from my home country. Family and community are both very important to me, and they’re values that I carry with me in both my personal life and the way I work with others.
