As Compliance Officer at Class People, I play a key role in making sure every candidate we work with meets the highest standards of safer recruitment before they step into a school or education setting.
My role involves overseeing the compliance process from start to finish, including right-to-work checks, references, DBS requirements, safeguarding documentation and ensuring all candidate records are accurate, complete and up to date. I work closely with both our recruitment team and candidates to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible, while never compromising on the standards that are so important within education.
I’m naturally organised, thorough and detail-focused, and I take real pride in making sure everything is done properly. Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do, and I understand the responsibility that comes with ensuring schools can feel confident in the people we place with them.
Although compliance is very process-driven, it’s also incredibly people-focused. I enjoy supporting candidates through what can sometimes feel like a daunting process, answering questions and helping them get everything in place so they can start their next role with confidence.
