Your Role

As a Baby Room Practitioner, you'll play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0–2 years.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality, individualised care for babies and young children.

• Creating engaging sensory and play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS.

• Supporting babies with their daily routines, development and early milestones.

• Following safer sleeping, feeding, weaning and safeguarding procedures.

• Observing and assessing children's development, maintaining accurate learning journals.

• Building strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.

• Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team to create a happy, welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is warm, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about supporting babies through their earliest years.

Essential requirements:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

• Previous experience working with babies aged 0–2 years.

• A strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.

• Knowledge of safer sleeping, baby feeding and weaning practices.

• A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Paediatric First Aid training would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
