You'll play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore and develop with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

• Planning and delivering stimulating learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing nursery environment.

• Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.

• Observing and recording children's progress and development.

• Supporting children's individual needs and encouraging independence.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of childcare.

• Following safeguarding, health and safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Confidence in supporting children's individual learning and development.

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
