What will you be doing?

As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you could be working across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, covering a range of primary school classes.

Depending on the school and placement, you may be:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and following school schemes of work
• Taking full teaching responsibility for a KS2 class
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Adapting lessons where appropriate to meet pupils' needs
• Working closely with school staff and following school policies
• Providing continuity and consistency for pupils during staff absence

Requirements

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for primary education
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK
