SEN Teaching Assistant In The Forest Of Dean

Could you help a child build confidence, overcome challenges and feel ready to learn? We’re looking for caring and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in schools across the Forest of Dean.

You’ll help children access learning, develop independence and build positive relationships, working alongside teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.

The role:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group SEN support

• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs

• Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Encourage confidence, independence and classroom participation

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children, ideally in a school or SEN setting

• Is patient, flexible and proactive

• Is passionate about helping every child reach their potential
