Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Pay: £170–£270 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Start Date: October half term 2026
End Date: May half term 2027

Class People are currently recruiting for an experienced Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school in Abingdon on a full-time maternity cover basis.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Psychology and be confident delivering engaging lessons across the relevant age groups. This is a longer-term opportunity, making it ideal for a teacher looking for consistency and the opportunity to become part of a school community.

The Role

• Full-time Psychology teaching position
• Maternity cover from October half term 2026 until May half term 2027
• Planning and delivering engaging Psychology lessons
• Supporting students with their academic progress
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• Experience teaching Psychology in a secondary school setting
• Confident teaching Psychology at the required level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
• Able to commit to the full maternity cover period
