LB Group – make their second acquisition

Having completed a gruelling 5 days and 465 km in India for women’s action for charity. CEO Lynis Bassett talks about the experiences of her trip and the quick turn around to complete a second acquisition on her return to the boardroom.

The sheer focus and strength of mind to get through this cycle was huge, however I am sure a lot less that the strength required of woman facing cancer treatments. Many of the women on this trip shared some of those stories, they were stronger than me.

It is hard to put into words what it feels like to be part of something like this. The woman that ride beside you who radiate simultaneously their vulnerability and strength. It is inspiring, it is uplifting, it is women together.

At the final celebration dinner we learned that the group had raised £320, 000 for Jo’s cervical cancer trust/Breast cancer care and ovarian cancer trust.  I felt privileged to know that the teams at Class People had made a significant contribution to this number. Thank you to my teams for their support.

Returning to the boardroom I felt my legs were still turning on the bike. Catching up rapidly we are pleased to announce another acquisition to LB Group - Welcome TeacherHub.

Lynis Bassett states: "In last years Recruiter I referred to Mark Fearon as the person who taught me recruitment.  It is with great pleasure we welcome Mark and his teams into the LB Group."

Fearon states:  "Having worked with Lynis Bassett in the past I am looking forward to working with her and previous members of staff again.  The change is fate!"
